If you wish to support my website but your web browser has an ad blocker (ad filter), then you can add an exception to your ad blocker for my website. Thanks in advance if you want to do that!
For the widely used ad blocker Adblock Plus, you can add such an exception in the following way:
Adblock Plus in Firefox
1. For Adblock Plus in Firefox, you can enable ads on my website like this (only possible while you are viewing my website):
Click on the red Adblock Plus icon (ABP) in the toolbar of your browser - click on: Disable on sites.google.com
This disables Adblock Plus on Google Sites, but not on all other sites. When you reload the web page, you should see the effect.

2. For Adblock Plus in Chrome and Chromium, you can enable ads on my website like this (only possible while you are viewing my website):
Click the red ABP icon alongside the Chrome address bar - remove the tick for: Enabled on this site
This disables Adblock Plus on Google Sites, but not on all other sites. When you reload the web page, you should see the effect.
